The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Table

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of personalities, and a exciting storyline featuring divine entities, fiends, and sinister influences increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the latest installment of the new season are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

Episode 3 finished on a dramatic pause and revealed the initial group of characters who will branch out from the central cast to begin their separate journey, apart from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (played by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

Given an extensive roster, it was obvious from the start that keeping everyone at the same party would be impossible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, weaving together the characters’ stories before splitting into three separate parties: Fighters, Planners, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

As described by the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for players who prefer a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven narrative style where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might seem mismatched, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these five characters are best suited for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the party knows exactly where to head next after a violent first encounter with the enemy group.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose death initiated the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his own means, breaking into the hidden lair, attacking the character, and taking all the magical artifacts to sell off.

Casimir then settled his debts and fled to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each character has a specific drive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and closest confidant, desires revenge.
  • The adventurer has experience in Timmony and advises that it is a nasty place.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having defied his house’s orders to eliminate the fighter and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their reputation as key figures in the influential clan could assist the party access areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The fighter vowed a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that control the city for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The healer turned against the influential house and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by the family.

This means them little choice but to travel to the remote area in search of the traitor.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s post-show segment, we discover that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the remaining eight players to round up the Explorers and Planners parties.

Audiences can anticipate discovering which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the season’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on next week.
